Former AHL MVP Aucoin Among Seven Sent to Chicago

The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday they have received 2010 American Hockey League MVP Keith Aucoin and six more players from the St. Louis Blues.

Forwards Sergey Andronov, Dmitrij Jaskin and Ty Rattie, defensemen Joel Edmundson and Jani Hakanpaa, and goaltender Jake Allen also have been assigned to Chicago.

The Wolves continue their preseason slate with a game against the Iowa Wild at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, at Franklin Park Ice Arena in Franklin Park.

The team will open their 20th season in Texas when they battle the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at the AT&T Center. The club will also face the Rampage for the team’s home opener, presented by LifeSource, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Allstate Arena.
