Binnington Heads to Kalamazoo

Chicago Wolves goaltender Jordan Binnington has been reassigned to the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings.

BINNINGTON has not appeared in any games with Chicago this season.

The 20-year-old netminder appeared in 50 OHL games with the Owen Sound Attack last season, posting a 32-12-6 mark, 2.17 goals-against average, .932 save percentage and seven shutouts. He was also named the 2013 OHL Goaltender of the Year and to the 2013 OHL First All-Star Team.

The Richmond Hill, Ontario, native also represented Team Canada at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championships last year.

The Wolves host their 20th home opener, presented by LifeSource, against the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Allstate Arena. For information on ticket packages, visit chicagowolves.com or call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.
