Wolves Send Kattelus to Kalamazoo

January 20, 2014

The Chicago Wolves announced Monday they have reassigned forward Eric Kattelus to the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings.

KATTELUS skated in two tilts with Chicago after being recalled on Thursday. He holds second on Kalamazoo with 14 goals, 18 assists, and 32 points in 34 outings this season.

The 26-year-old forward made his American Hockey League debut in 39 games with the Wolves last season after being signed by the team on Jan. 7, 2013. He registered 10 assists and 13 points with Chicago, and he ranked fifth on the club with a +9 plus/minus rating.

The Traverse City, Mich., native began the 2012-13 campaign with Kalamazoo where he recorded 13 goals and 32 points in 34 outings. His 32 points in 34 games with the K-Wings matched his point output (10G, 22A) in 68 contests he collected with Kalamazoo in 2011-12.
