Wolves schedule three exhibition games for October

The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday they will play three exhibition games in as many days to close out their 2016 training camp.

New head coach Craig Berube’s squad opens preseason play at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, with a visit to the MetroCentre to face the Rockford IceHogs.BerubeHeadshot

The Wolves host the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday, Oct. 7, at West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows. Tickets are $5 for the 7 p.m. game and can be purchased in advance or at the gate. Call the arena at 847-398-2700 for tickets.

Chicago wraps up training camp on Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Triphahn Center Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates with an exhibition against the Milwaukee Admirals. Tickets are $8 for the 7 p.m. game and available in advance or at the door. Call 847-885-7500 for tickets.
