Theodore Heads to Vegas; Reinhart Joins Wolves

The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that defenseman Shea Theodore has been recalled from loan by the Vegas Golden Knights while defenseman Griffin Reinhart has cleared waivers and been loaned to the team.

Reinhart made his Wolves debut on Oct. 27 in Grand Rapids as he joined the Wolves the same day on a conditioning loan from the Golden Knights.

The 23-year-old was selected by Vegas during the Expansion Draft in June and signed a two-year deal with the team on July 15. Reinhart made his NHL debut with the New York Islanders on Oct. 10, 2014. In 37 NHL appearances, he has posted two assists and 26 penalty minutes. Reinhart has yet to see regular-season action with the Golden Knights.

Theodore, who joined the Wolves on Oct. 4, has appeared in all eight of the Wolves’ games this season and ranks on the team with 11 points (5G, 6A) in that span. The 22-year-old is the American Hockey League’s top-scoring defenseman and stands seventh among all league skaters in points.

Chicago returns to game action on Friday, Nov. 3, against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Van Andel Arena. Game time is 6 p.m. and the contest will be broadcast on The U Too.
