Mancari's Pair Leads Wolves Past IceHogs, 4-2
ROSEMONT, Ill.---The Chicago Wolves and Rockford IceHogs traded goals for two periods, but Mark Mancari bagged two third-period markers in 57 seconds to give the Wolves a 4-2 Illinois Lottery Cup victory in their third “School Day Game” Wednesday afternoon at the Allstate Arena.

The Wolves swept a three-games-in-three-nights set last weekend for the first time since Dec. 27-29, 2010; Chicago, which has posted a 10-3-0-0 mark in its last 13 tilts after suffering through a season-long five-game winless streak from Nov. 27 to Dec. 9 (0-3-1-1), sits in second place in the Midwest Division with 42 points (19-12-1-3).
Wolves All-Stars to Visit Local Libraries
Chicago Wolves right wing Darren Haydar and defenseman Kevin Connauton, who were both named to the 2012 American Hockey League All-Star Team on Jan. 4, will be making an appearance at two Chicagoland libraries next week as part of the “Read to Succeed” program presented by Butternut Bread and Vista Health System.

Rosemont, Ill.---The Chicago Wolves pulled within 3 points of first place in the Midwest Division with a 5-2 victory over division-leading Charlotte on Sunday afternoon before 6,096 at the Allstate Arena.
