One of the Chicago Wolves most successful community endeavors is their READ TO SUCCEED program, which involves more than 28,000 children and 105 libraries in the Chicagoland area.  The goal of this program is for children to spend more time in libraries so that they see the valuable resources they have to offer, and understand the benefits of reading as a recreational tool.

Through this program, the Wolves provide incentives for children who reach their reading goals. In addition, Wolves player spokesmen visit the libraries throughout the season.  The players speak about the important role that education plays in their lives as professional athletes.

The Chicago Wolves invite local high school and college journalists and photographers to experience a game as a member of the media.  The students´ skills will expand as they are granted full media credentials and the assistance of the Wolves media relations department to write and photograph a game for their school newspaper. 

vid_link.pngStudents will be able to watch the game from the press box and will have the opportunity to take part in a post-game interview with Wolves Head Coach Don Granato. All stories will be posted on the Chicago Wolves Web site.

frenchclassvisits_btn.pngDuring the season, French-speaking Wolves players visit local high school French classes.  The students will prepare questions for the player and address him in French.  The teacher will help coordinate the curriculum with the team.
