One of the Chicago Wolves most successful community endeavors is their READ TO SUCCEED program, which involves more than 28,000 children and 105 libraries in the Chicagoland area.  The goal of this program is for children to spend more time in libraries so that they see the valuable resources they have to offer, and understand the benefits of reading as a recreational tool.

Through this program, the Wolves provide incentives for children who reach their reading goals. In addition, Wolves player spokesmen visit the libraries throughout the season.  The players speak about the important role that education plays in their lives as professional athletes.
