During their 20th season as a franchise, the Chicago Wolves utilized a blend of new and old to make their milestone year a memorable one. The 2013-14 squad featured fresh faces on the ice such as Jake Allen and Ty Rattie while bringing back a familiar figure behind the bench in four-time champion coach John Anderson. As far as Chicago Wolves fans are concerned, the season ended Friday night in Toronto. Tired, sweaty, bearded players bucked up after the dispiriting Game 4 loss, skated through the postgame handshake line and headed to the locker room in Ricoh Coliseum to shed their Wolves jerseys for the final time as a unit.

TORONTO --- It’s not impossible to erase a 3-0 deficit and win a seven-game series. It happened last month in the National Hockey League when Los Angeles spotted San Jose the first three games and then swept the next four. It happened last year in the American Hockey League when Wilkes-Barre/Scranton swept Providence after dropping the first three in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
