
Atlanta Recalls Lehtonen
The Atlanta Thrashers have recalled goaltender Kari Lehtonen (CAR-ee LEH-tuh-nehn) from the Chicago Wolves.


Chicago Wolves center Riley Holzapfel and defenseman Mike Vernace will make four appearances next Wednesday, February 10, at libraries around Chicagoland as part of the Wolves “Read to Succeed” program, presented by Pace and Vista Health System.

The Chicago Wolves have teamed up with the Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL) for the second annual NIHL Wolves Cup, beginning this Saturday, February 6, at the Inwood Recreations Center in Joliet, Ill. The tournament will continue on Sun., Feb. 7, and conclude the following weekend, Sat., Feb. 13, and Sun., Feb. 14.

The wives and girlfriends of the Chicago Wolves players will host their annual Valentine’s Day Puck Fundraiser at home games beginning on Sat., Jan. 30, with proceeds benefitting Chicago Wolves Charities. The drive will continue throughout February at home games on Tue., Feb. 9; Wed., Feb. 17; Sat., Feb. 20; Sun., Feb. 21; and Sun., Feb. 28.
