--- Chicago has converted at a 31 percent clip on the power play over its last eight tilts (nine of 29), which includes scoring six times on 18 chances in its last four games; the Wolves, who ranked 30th in the league at the beginning of December, shares 19th in the AHL on the power play with a 15.3 conversion rate on the man-advantage (20 of 131).
--- Outside a pair of four-game winning streaks, the Wolves have not won back-to-back games this season; Chicago will look to change that when the Wolves travel to Abbotsford and battle the Heat on Friday.
--- Defenseman Mark Matheson has tallied 2 points (G, A) in his last two games after going six tilts without a point; the 28-year-old blueliner shares second among team rear guards with 12 points (4G, 8A) in 30 games this year.
