--- STEVE MARTINS: Recorded season-highs with three assists, four points and a +4 plus/minus rating in Sunday's 8-0 win over Houston ... Notched nine points (4G, 5A) in his last six contests, which includes three multiple-point outings ... Ranks fifth on the squad with 26 assists and 39 points in 46 matchups this season

--- DARREN HAYDAR: Notched at least one point in 47 of his 51 games with Chicago
this season, which includes netting his 31st goal of the season on Sunday ... Leads the AHL with 90 points - just two shy of tying the career-best 92 he posted in 80 games last year - and a career-high 59 assists ... Shares second in the league with a +26 plus/ minus rating and third with 31 markers

--- MICHAEL GARNETT: Posted his second shutout of the season on Sunday in just his third appearance in the club's last 11 games ... Registered four career AHL shutouts, including his 20-save effort against Houston ... Accrued a 16-10-1 record with a 3.21 goals-against average and a .894 save percentage in 28 appearances this season

--- CORY LAROSE: Dished out two assists on Sunday after being held without a point in three straight games ... Ranks second in the AHL among active players with a career-high 46 assists and third with 61 points in 42 outings this season, which includes 19 multiple-point performances

--- DEREK MacKENZIE: Posted 13 points (3G, 10A) in his last 11 outings, which includes a goal and an assist on Sunday ... Registered a career-high with his 36th point of the season on Sunday, sixth-best on the club ... Ranks sixth with a career-best 22 assists in 49 contests ... Paces the AHL with five short-handed markers and is the franchise's leader with 21 in his career

--- BRAYDON COBURN: Registered a two assists and a +4 plus/minus rating in Sunday's win ...  Tallied four helpers in five games with the Wolves after being reassigned by the Atlanta Thrashers on Feb. 7 ... Posted four assists in 29 contests with Atlanta this year and 11 points (G, 10A) in 14 outings with the Wolves

The Wolves matched a franchise record for their largest margin of victory in Sunday's 8-0 win in Houston.  The eight-goal margin was the club's largest away from the Allstate Arena in its 13-year existence.  Chicago has potted eight or more goals five times this season, four of which have come on the road.


--- After wrapping up a three-game road swing in San Antonio on Friday,
the Wolves launch a franchise-record, eight-contest home stand on Saturday
against Omaha; Chicago, which has posted a 11-10-1-3 mark at the Allstate Arena this season, will play 15 of its final 21 regular-season tilts on home ice.  

--- Sunday's victory was the Wolves' AHL-best 24th road win of the season (24-6-1-2), which is just three shy of matching both a league and franchise record.  

--- Chicago has racked up 35 wins in 58 games this season, tied for the third-most in the AHL and one shy of matching last season's total of 36 victories in 80 tilts (36-32-4-8); the squad has racked up 77 points this year, tied for second-best in the league.

--- Sunday's 8-0 shutout win was the Wolves' third this season and the franchise's 65th all-time.  

--- Chicago leads the AHL with 257 goals, 37 more than the next closest team
(Norfolk, 220) and just 44 shy of equaling the franchise-best 301 markers the
1997-98 club posted.

--- The Wolves have netted a short-handed goal in two of their last three outings and rank second in the AHL with 17 shorties.


Wolves goaltender and nine-year National Hockey League veteran FRED BRATHWAITE will visit the Arlington Heights Public Library on Tue., Feb. 20 at 4 p.m., as part of the team's Read to Succeed program, sponsored by Fisher Nuts and College Illinois!, which has reached nearly 400,000 children in 10 seasons.

--- Chicago used seven different goal scorers and a 20-save shutout performance from netminder MICHAEL GARNETT en route to matching their largest margin of victory in franchise history with a 8-0 win over the Houston Aeros at the Toyota Center
--- Center STEVE MARTINS led the way with three assists and four points while forwards DEREK MacKENZIE (G, A), CORY LAROSE (2A), BRAD SCHELL (G,A) and COLIN STUART (2G) and defenseman BRAYDON COBURN (2A) aided the offensive onslaught by posting multiple points
