CLIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR, PARTNERSHIPS

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for managing aspects of the Chicago Wolves sponsor/partner relationships to include contract management, contract execution, gameday execution and renewal process while assuring positive results to meet or exceed partner’s business goals. Client Services will serve as conduit between the Chicago Wolves organization and their marketing partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guide partnership marketing/fulfillment efforts for Chicago Wolves partners to assure that the partner business needs are met.
  • Communicate regularly with current partners through phone calls, email, personal appointments and hospitality at Wolves events and games.
  • Manage aspects of the partner’s contract and the contract process.
  • Manage aspects of the A/R process including invoice distribution, tracking, follow up and internal communication.
  • Manage and direct implementation of partnership initiatives.
  • Co-manage partnership inventory for the Chicago Wolves.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the partner’s business strengths, weaknesses and opportunities
  • Cross-department coordination of activities with Graphics (Creative), Operations, Public Relations, Television Production and Ticketing departments in order to proactively deliver value to partners and execution of contractual benefits.
  • Identify value added opportunities for partnership portfolio.
  • Manage partnership proof of performance/recap process including creation of sponsorship recaps, compilation of all relevant information in the recap process.
  • Build sales presentation decks.
  • Business Dev. opportunities may exist in this role, secondary to Client Service
  • Attendance at all Wolves home games and other events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extremely strong organizational, time-management skills and high attention to detail.

50/50 SELLER (Part-Time)

The Chicago Wolves are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing and dependable individuals to join our 50/50 raffle team. 50/50 sellers can expect to gain resume building, real-world skills in event marketing and management and fundraising, as well as, learn about the operations of a professional sports team.

The 50/50 seller position will run from October until the end of the season and is a paid position, and sellers are expected to work all home games. If interested, please contact Charlie Cinnamon at [email protected]

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell 50/50 raffle tickets at Chicago Wolves Home Games
  • Educate fans on the details of the 50/50 program and answer any questions fans may have.
  • Handling the sales and distribution of the raffle tickets.
  • Handling and accurately counting cash.
  • Understand and demonstrate the mission of Chicago Wolves Charities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Above average verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, previous experience preferred.
  • Able to work majority of home game, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Arrive on time, be organized and behave in a professional manner.
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Responsible, motivated and comfortable engaging with fans.

GAME DAY StaFF

The Chicago Wolves are seeking responsible, enthusiastic individuals to work alongside the Game Operations staff in executing game-day duties for 2023-2024 season. Game Day staff will perform fan engagement, fundraising, and game presentation duties before, during, and after the Wolves home games (staff are expected to work the majority of games). Game Day staff can expect to gain resume-building, real-world skills in event marketing, management, and fundraising, as well as learn about the operations of a professional sports organization.

The Game Day staff position will run from October 14th, until the end of the season. Game Day staff are paid on a per-game and per-event basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and manage the team’s fan-interactive Kids Zone
  • Manage on-site activations and fan experiences while fundraising for Chicago Wolves Charities
  • Promote the Skates Mates Kids Club registration and help increase memberships
  • Facilitate the team’s various charitable initiatives, including 50/50 raffle sales, Chuck-A-Puck sales, and charity drive collections
  • Assist with the team’s year-end merchandise sale
  • Provide high-quality customer service interaction with all guests to enhance entertainment experience
  • Work other duties as assigned

NEW BUSINESS ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY

The New Business Account Executive generates new ticket plan sales along with managing existing accounts. Account Executives are required to meet our full season, partial and group ticket sales goals. Key traits to exhibit are confidence, creativity, enthusiasm, attention to detail and strong work ethic.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for re-establishing our relationship with past buyers and building relationships with new clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Organize meetings with clients to assess needs and present opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed daily call minimums.
  • Provide excellent customer care and quality service to our customers.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and long-term sales goals in the areas of ticket plan sales, luxury/nightly suite sales and group sales.
  • Track all correspondence with customers via CRM software.
  • Work all home games – entertain clients, fulfill group obligations, pursue new business opportunities and answer client service and sales questions at the Sales tables and throughout the arena.

GROUP SALES – ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY

The Group Sales Executive will be a expert in selling group tickets to Chicago Wolves games to various organizations and companies. This individual will seek to develop business relationships to gain revenue by selling group tickets to businesses and various groups for the Chicago Wolves. He\she will work regular office hours and\or event hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. A core function of a Group Sales Account Executive will be generating new revenue through outbound calls, client meetings, custom emails, events, cross-selling and generating referrals.

  • Actively prospect and close new group ticket sales to a variety of markets, including local/regional businesses, community groups, non-profit groups, clubs, social groups, religious groups, youth-focused markets and others.

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for generating revenue through group outings and FSE ticket plans. The ideal candidate is a hungry, curious and self-motivated professional ready to develop sales acumen while generating revenue. We are seeking candidates who are interested in achieving sales success, not for candidates “looking to get into sports.”

The ISR position is seasonal, with opportunity for full-time employment based on merit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make minimum 70 outbound sales calls each day
  • Actively prospect new sales opportunities through area businesses, organizations and leads provided through in-house data-capture efforts
  • Up-sell inbound calls
  • Achieve weekly, monthly and seasonal sales goals
  • Track all contacts with customers via Archtics ticketing software
  • Staff all home games with duties as assigned.

The Account Executive position at the Chicago Wolves is responsible for selling full and partial/flexible season ticket plans. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, ambitious, persuasive and coachable. Candidates must be ready to work hard at growing an existing customer base and developing new business. This will be accomplished through diligent research and prospecting via phone calls, referrals, personal appointments and face-to-face meetings at Wolves events and games.  We are seeking candidates who are interested in sales success, not for candidates “looking to get into sports.” Prior sales experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make minimum 60 outbound sales calls to sell ticket packages
  • Actively prospect new sales opportunities through area businesses, organizations and leads provided through in-house data-capture efforts
  • Schedule prospect meetings at Wolves games and other events
  • Exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Provide superior customer service to clients, existing ticket-holders, prospects, and single-game customers
  • Track all contacts with customers via Wolves CRM software: Ticketmaster Archtics
  • Other game-day duties as assigned

BLIMP OPERATOR (PART-TIME)

The Chicago Wolves are seeking an experienced blimp operator for the 2021-22 season. The position is responsible for flying the Wolves’ radio-controlled blimp during all home games, plus maintenance and repairs to the blimp as necessary throughout the season.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced radio-controlled blimp experience is required.
  • Previous blimp operation experience with a sports team is preferred
  • Must be punctual and reliable with strong communication skills
  • Available to work all home games (Friday/Saturday nights, Sunday afternoons and some weekday and weeknights) from October to April, plus playoffs as needed
