The Chicago Wolves are proud to welcome the 2016 Commissioner’s Trophy to Allstate Arena on Sunday, Feb. 12.

To ensure the maximum number of people receive the chance to visit the symbol of the Chicago Cubs’ 2016 World Series championship, here are some answers to common questions:

When and where will the trophy be displayed?

The Commissioner’s Trophy will be located in the South Lobby from 1:30 to 3 p.m. At the end of that 90-minute period, the trophy will move to the ice for a pregame ceremony that includes Wolves senior executive vice president Wayne Messmer.

How and where do I get in line to take a picture with the trophy?

Allstate Arena’s southwest doors (download printable map) will open at 1:30 p.m., which is 30 minutes earlier than usual. That’s where the line to enter the building will begin. All other doors will open at the normal time (2 p.m.). Fans entering through other doors can walk to the southwest corner of the main concourse and join the end of the line.

How early can I get in line?

The Allstate Arena parking lot opens at 10 a.m. Enter the west lot from Chestnut St. (download printable map). Parking is $15 per vehicle, cash only.

Will everybody have a chance to take an individual photo with the trophy?

In order to accommodate the most people during the trophy’s availability, fans will take turns by group. If there are four people in your party, then four people will pose together with the trophy. A Wolves staff member will take the picture on one phone and kindly ask that you share with everyone else in your group.

What if I don’t want to wait in line to see the trophy?

Though it will be cordoned off to respect the integrity of the line, the trophy will be located in a public space. There will be opportunities to walk near the trophy and get a look at the sterling silver award.

Do I need a ticket to see the World Series trophy?

Yes, in order to enter the arena for the World Series trophy viewing, you will need to purchase a ticket for Sunday’s game. Tickets are available in advance on or by calling 1-800-THE-WOLVES.

Can I buy tickets on Sunday at Allstate Arena?
