The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday they have signed forward Nathan Longpre to a Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).
LONGPRE registered 4 goals, 8 assists, and 12 points in 53 games with the Wolves last season, his second as a professional. He also tallied 3 points (2G, A) in four contests with the Peoria Rivermen after being loaned there on April 9.
The 25-year-old forward has amassed 17 goals, 20 assists, and 37 points in 124 career American Hockey League outings with Chicago, Peoria, Worcester, and Springfield from 2011-13.
In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Wolves will open their 20th season in Texas when they battle the San Antonio Rampage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at the AT&T Center. The club will also face the Rampage for the team’s home opener, presented by LifeSource, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Allstate Arena.
