The Chicago Wolves announced Monday they have received left wing Chris Porter on assignment from the St. Louis Blues.
The 29-year-old PORTER skated in two games with the Blues after being recalled on Oct. 31. He has tallied 3 assists and 4 points in seven games with the Wolves this year.
The Thunder Bay, Ontario, native earned 6 assists and 8 points in 29 National Hockey League outings with St. Louis last season. He also accrued 7 goals and 10 points in 12 American Hockey League games with the Peoria Rivermen.
The Wolves continue their six-game circus road trip at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, when they travel to Des Moines for a game against the Iowa Wild. Chicago returns to the Allstate Arena at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, for a game against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
