Wolves Postpone Tuesday’s Read To Succeed Visits

To help ensure everyone’s safety during the historically cold temperatures sweeping across the Chicago area, the Wolves have postponed the three Read to Succeed appearances scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Defenseman Joel Edmundson was slated to visit the Midlothian Public Library at 4:30 p.m. and the Blue Island Public Library at 6:30 p.m. while center Pat Cannone was scheduled to make a 5 p.m. appearance at the Park Forest Public Library.

“We believe it’s important to align ourselves with the school districts that have already evaluated the weather forecasts and cancelled classes for Tuesday,” said Wolves president of business operations Mike Gordon. “The safety of our fans and players is paramount to us.”

The visits planned for Wednesday in Elmwood Park, Morton Grove, Highland Park, Summit and Palos Heights are on as scheduled, but will be re-evaluated as warranted by the weather.

The Chicago Wolves and the libraries will work to coordinate new dates for the postponed visits. For updated information, visit ChicagoWolves.com or call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.
