The Chicago Wolves host Brews & Bites, their fourth annual beer tasting fundraiser, on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hofbräuhaus Chicago in Rosemont.
Wolves fans will be able to sample a variety of food and freshly brewed beer, carefully selected to complement each other, as well as mingle with Wolves players and fans. Right wings Mark Mancari and Michael Davies, center Christian Hanson, defenseman Brent Regner, and goaltenders Matt Climie and Jake Allen will take part in the festivities at Hofbräuhaus.
Additionally, attendees receive a Chicago Wolves beer glass and have the opportunity to bid on exclusive auction items and win raffle prizes. These items include lunch with CLIMIE and HANSON; autographed sticks, a jersey, a beer package, and limited-edition shirts made exclusively for the event.
“We’re excited about Hofbräuhaus Chicago serving as the new venue for this event, which gives our fans a chance to experience a different atmosphere with original beer and food,” said Becky Jarosch, the Wolves community relations coordinator. “We think our fans will really enjoy this and we look forward to raising lots of money for Chicago Wolves Charities.”
“We are very excited to have the Wolves host an event like this at Hofbräuhaus,” said Hofbräuhaus Chicago general manager Jim Olson. “What a great opportunity to showcase our world-class facility, cuisine and beers to a great group of people. We are expecting the event to be a key fundraiser for the Wolves this season!”
Tickets are available for fans at least 21 years of age and can be reserved for a $45 donation by calling 1-800-THE-WOLVES. Proceeds from the event benefit Chicago Wolves Charities, which works with more than a dozen Illinois-based charities.
