Porter recalled from Wolves

March 4, 2014

The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that left wing Chris Porter has been recalled by the NHL.

The 29-year-old PORTER posted 7 goals, 11 assists and a +6 plus/minus rating in 38 games this season for the Wolves. His 18 points ranked 11th on the team. The Thunder Bay, Ontario, native has contributed one assist in 10 games for St. Louis this season.

The Wolves, who just finished a perfect four-game homestand to run their home point streak to a franchise-record 17 games (15-0-2-0), have pulled within 3 points of the Western Conference lead. They travel to face Western Conference pacesetter Grand Rapids at 6 p.m. Wednesday in a game that will be broadcast on U-Too 26.2.
