Chicago Wolves individual playoff tickets for the first round of the 2014 Calder Cup Playoffs go on sale to the public at 11 a.m. on Friday. The American Hockey League’s postseason schedule is expected to be released after the Wolves wrap up their regular season on Saturday, April 19, with a 7 p.m. game against Milwaukee at Allstate Arena.
To purchase a playoff package — which offers fans the same seat for all 15 possible games — or a playoff flex pack, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES. Individual tickets for playoff games at Allstate Arena also can be purchased by visiting ChicagoWolves.com or Ticketmaster.com, calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000, or going to the Allstate Arena box office or any other Ticketmaster outlet.
With 17 regular-season games remaining —11 of them at Allstate Arena — the Wolves (35-18-4-2) are just three points out of first place in the Midwest Division and own fourth place in the Western Conference playoff race with 76 points.
Eight teams in each conference qualify for the playoffs. The three division winners are seeded first to third according to their points total and the next five teams are seeded fourth to eighth in the same fashion.
The Wolves host Texas for a pair of games this weekend and they’ll be debuting this year’s St. Patrick’s Day commemorative jerseys, presented by Jewel-Osco, to raise money for Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Wolves Charities.
