Wolves sign Nagy to deal

The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that they have signed forward Gergo Nagy to a standard player contract (SPC) and assigned him to Quad City of the Central Hockey League.

The 24-year-old Dunaujvaros, Hungary, native appeared in one game for the Wolves during a tryout contract (PTO) and took three shots in Chicago’s 4-0 home victory over Iowa on March 2.

The 6-foot-3, 202-pound NAGY has spent most of this season in Quad City, where he has contributed 17 goals, 29 assists and a +13 plus/minus rating in 53 games this season. His 46 points rank second on the Mallards and he stands third in goals and plus/minus rating during his first season in North America.

In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
