March 14, 2014

The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that they have signed forward Gergo Nagy to a standard player contract (SPC) and assigned him to Quad City of the Central Hockey League.

The 24-year-old Dunaujvaros, Hungary, native appeared in one game for the Wolves during a tryout contract (PTO) and took three shots in Chicago’s 4-0 home victory over Iowa on March 2.

His 46 points rank second on the Mallards and he stands third in goals and plus/minus rating during his first season in North America.

In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal are not being disclosed.
