The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday that they have recalled forward Eric Kattelus from Kalamazoo.
KATTELUS posted two assists in two playoff games for the Wings last weekend and delivered 14 goals, 21 assists and a +16 plus/minus rating in 37 regular-season appearances for Kalamazoo.
The 26-year-old Traverse City, Mich., native played in six regular-season games for the Wolves this year and notched 3 goals and 10 assists in 39 games for Chicago in 2012-13.
The Wolves continue to prepare for their 2014 Calder Cup Western Conference quarterfinal series against Rochester. The best-of-five first-round series opens at 6 p.m. Friday at Rochester while the Wolves will host Game 3 on Thursday, May 1, at Allstate Arena. If necessary, they’ll host Game 4 on Friday, May 2, and Game 5 on Sunday, May 4.
