The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that left wing Dmitrij Jaskin (dih-MEE-tree YASH-kin) has returned to the team from the NHL. He will be available for the Wolves’ opening game of the 2014 Calder Cup playoffs at 6 p.m. today at Rochester.
JASKIN produced 15 goals and 14 assists in 42 regular-season games for the Wolves. His 29 points ranked seventh on the team, but his 0.69 points per game shared the team lead with center Keith Aucoin.
The 21-year-old rookie also appeared in 18 regular-season games for the St. Louis Blues (NHL) and posted 1 goal and 1 assist, which included his first NHL goal on Dec. 28 versus the Chicago Blackhawks.
The first two games of the Wolves’ best-of-five Western Conference Quarterfinals will be played on Rochester’s home ice before the Wolves host Game 3 at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at Allstate Arena. If Games 4 and 5 are necessary, they are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2, and 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 4. All games will be broadcast on The U-Too 26.2, XFinity 248, RCN 35 and WOW 170.
