The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday that they will participate in four exhibition games in October, including two in Chicagoland, in preparation for their 21st season.
The Wolves will suit up for preseason games Oct. 1-4 against Midwest Division rivals the Rockford IceHogs and Milwaukee Admirals and twice against former division opponent the Iowa Wild, who were realigned into the West Division this summer.
Chicago kicks off its preseason schedule with a trip to Iowa for a tilt against the Wild at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Wells Fargo Arena and will then travel to Rockford to take on the IceHogs at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, at the MetroCentre.
The team will close out its exhibition schedule with two games on friendly ice. The Wolves will have a rematch with Iowa at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, at the Triphahn Center Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill. The preseason finale will pit the Wolves against Milwaukee at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, at the West Meadows Ice Arena in Rolling Meadows, Ill.
