Breed: Pit Mix

Owner Name: Michelle

Adoption: November 2011

We came for a group outing and it just happened to be Adopt-A-Dog Night. We really weren’t interested in adopting at the time, we were just bouncing the idea around.

We wandered around looking at the adorable dogs, but none of them really seemed right. About 5 minutes before the game started I decided to visit the bathroom and when I came out, there she was. I fell in love with her.

I sat with her and her handler for about 10 minutes. I was observing her reaction to what was going on around her, all the people and kids. I texted my husband to come to the bathroom. He came running, he thought something was wrong with me. He saw me sitting on the floor, petting this dog and he knew she would be going home with us.

We have had her almost three years now. She is a wonderful dog and I am glad she found us.
