Last call to join the Wolves for Brews & Bites

A few spots remain open for Brews & Bites, the Chicago Wolves’ fifth beer tasting fundraiser, on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hofbräuhaus Chicago in Rosemont.

Wolves fans get to sample a variety of food and freshly brewed beer, carefully selected to complement each other, as well as mingle with Wolves players. Right wings Ty Rattie and Shane Harper, defensemen Brent Regner and Joel Edmundson and goaltender Matt Climie will take part in the festivities at Hofbräuhaus.

Each attendee receives a Chicago Wolves beer glass and has the opportunity to win raffle prizes and bid on exclusive auction items. The auction features lunch with REGNER and HARPER, sticks from RATTIE and CLIMIE and a pair of Michael Davies’ gloves. There are also combo deals such as the HARPER “California Dreamin’ ” six-pack of beer with his jersey and the Jake Chelios “42 Brand” six-pack with his jersey.

This is the second year Brews & Bites has been hosted by Hofbräuhaus Chicago, which has made an excellent event even better.

“I think Hofbräuhaus deserves a big shout-out for last year,” said Courtney Mahoney, the Wolves’ Senior Vice President of Operations. “Their pairings of beer and food were outstanding. That combination, as well as tremendous support from our fans, made it a great event and it figures to be even better this year. The fans feel comfortable going up to the guys and chatting with them. Everybody’s loose and casual and it’s a lot of fun.”

Tickets are available for fans at least 21 years of age and can be reserved for a $50 donation by calling 1-800-THE-WOLVES. Proceeds from the event benefit Chicago Wolves Charities, which works with more than a dozen Illinois-based charities.
