The Chicago Wolves have unveiled their fresh “Hungry For More” advertising campaign ahead of their 22nd season, when the team aims to add to its impressive legacy as four-time league champions. The enhanced brand beckons fans and franchise partners alike to gear up for yet another electrifying slate of home games at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, regarded as one of the premier venues in the American Hockey League.
The versatile tagline-developed by international advertising and design agency TimeZoneOne-is indicative of the Wolves’ brand realignment as they bolster their roster, sponsorships and facilities for a run at the 2016 Calder Cup championship. The changes are reflected on the Wolves’ brand-new website, which features iconic imagery of the team’s star players, the arena, the campaign slogans and much more.
Chicago hockey fans know the Wolves will continue to be “Hungry For More Championships.” As the much-anticipated October 10th opener against the Milwaukee Admirals nears, billboards reflecting the team’s campaign and vision will spring up all across the Chicago area’s highways and roadways, as well as online.
“After over 20 years of success on and off the ice, we want to ensure we position ourselves for the next two decades, and TimeZoneOne has been working with us to ensure we stay true to our franchise’s values and they remain aligned with our fans,” said Wolves President Mike Gordon. “The launch of our new marketing position ‘Hungry for More’ rings true to our players, our fans and our staff.”
The Wolves also will be ramping up the fun during their home games all season-starting with the team’s much-acclaimed pregame show that features fireworks, lasers and music-all the way through to the consistent in-game entertainment throughout every contest. The team remains committed to providing affordable sports entertainment for the Chicagoland community as they have done since the organization’s inception in 1994.
Additionally, the arena will also be introducing Craft Beer Nights for the Wolves’ five Friday home tilts. Goose Island has partnered with the team to offer beer flights for fans during these games:
- Friday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. vs. Texas
- Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. vs. Manitoba
- Friday, Jan. 15, at 7 p.m. vs. Iowa
- Friday, March 18, at 7 p.m. vs. Rockford
- Friday, April 1, at 7 p.m. vs. Lake Erie
“The Chicago Wolves have ultimately made professional hockey accessible to all Chicagoans for over 20 years,” affirmed Daniel Thomas, CEO of TimeZoneOne. “Their team has captured four championships, qualified for the playoffs 17 times in 21 years, never had a losing season and they continue to be an essential part of Chicago’s sports fabric. We are very honored to be their agency partner and help them elevate their brand to the same level as their play–this also will hold true in their brand-new website launching today.”
