The Chicago Wolves announced Sunday that defenseman Joel Edmundson has been reassigned to the team while defenseman Petteri Lindbohm has been reassigned to the St. Louis Blues.
Edmundson recorded 2 assists and a -4 plus/minus rating in 23 National Hockey League games this season. The 22-year-old from Brandon, Manitoba, made his professional hockey debut with the Wolves in 2013. He appeared in 94 regular-season games with the Wolves during the last two seasons and contributed 8 goals and 12 assists. Edmundson also provided 2 goals during the 2015 Calder Cup Playoffs.
Lindbohm appeared in all 20 Wolves games this season and produced 2 goals, 5 assists and a +2 plus/minus rating. The 22-year-old from Helsinki, Finland, made his NHL debut last season and notched 2 goals and 1 assist in 23 games for the Blues.
The Wolves open a four-game road trip at 7 p.m. Tuesday vs. the Iowa Wild. Chicago returns to Allstate Arena on Thursday, Dec. 17, to face the Texas Stars in an 11 a.m. School-Day Game.
