Saturday, Dec. 26, 7 p.m. Allstate Arena
Chicago returns from its four-day Holiday Break to host Iowa tonight at Allstate Arena. The Wolves have won three straight contests, signaling the team’s second-longest win streak of the season.
JOHN ANDERSON’s club is averaging 4.00 goals per game during its winning streak. As a result the team’s season average stands at 3.15, ranking as the fourth-highest scoring offense in the AHL.
Tonight’s contest also marks the last home game of the calendar year, as the Wolves next host Rockford on Saturday (Jan. 2), one of just five home games slated for January.
Chicago looks to continue its success against Iowa, having claimed the first two games of the season series. Overall, the Wolves are winners of six straight against the Wild dating to last season.
Chicago is coming off a 4-1 home win over Manitoba on Dec. 21. The decisive victory marked a change of pace for the Wolves, who had previously played five straight one-goal games (going 2-3-0-0 during that stretch).
