The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that defenseman Richard Nedomlel has been reassigned to the organization by St. Louis (NHL).
The 22-year-old Nedomlel (“NEE-duhm-ehl”) was acquired Friday from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for future considerations. The Prague, Czech Republic, native appeared in two games for Grand Rapids (AHL) and 10 games for Toledo (ECHL) this season and posted 2 assists for the latter.
Nedomlel was selected by Detroit in the sixth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-5, 228-pound blueliner has posted 22 penalty minutes in five career appearances for Grand Rapids and 11 goals with 23 assists and 220 penalty minutes in 119 regular-season games for Toledo.
