The Chicago Wolves announced Saturday that defenseman Hubert Labrie (“hew-BAIR la-BREE”) has been acquired from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) in exchange for future considerations.
Labrie, 24, posted 7 assists and 61 penalty minutes in 50 games for San Antonio this season. The 5-foot-11, 194-pound Victoriaville, Quebec, native owns 5 goals, 24 assists and 238 penalty minutes in 196 American Hockey League appearances for the Texas Stars, Springfield Falcons and San Antonio.
The fifth-year pro also has notched 3 goals, 7 assists and 53 penalty minutes in 34 games for the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL.
