WOLVES SIGN JUSTIN SELMAN

The Chicago Wolves announced Wednesday that forward Justin Selman has signed an amateur tryout contract (ATO).

Selman, 22, just completed his four-year college career at the University of Michigan, where he helped the Wolverines reach the 2016 NCAA Midwest Regional Final. The Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, native, ranked fifth on the Wolverines with 13 goals and seventh with 30 points as Michigan posted a 25-7-5 record.

The 6-foot, 200-pound forward contributed 29 goals, 37 assists and a +12 plus/minus rating in 113 games at Michigan. He recorded a hat trick with an assist on Jan. 23, 2015, against Wisconsin and contributed 1 goal and 1 assist during this year’s NCAA Tournament.

The Wolves host Rockford at 7 p.m. today in an Illinois Lottery Cup contest at Allstate Arena. Chicago welcomes the Lake Erie Monsters to town at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday — and the latter game is Marvel Superhero Night.
