The Chicago Wolves announced Wednesday that defenseman Nick Petrecki has signed a professional tryout contract (PTO) while defenseman Jared Nightingale has been released from his PTO and forward Mark Cooper has been released from his amateur tryout (ATO).

This marks Petrecki’s second stint with the Wolves this season. The 26-year-old Schenectady, New York, native has spent most of this season with the ECHL’s Indy Fuel, where he has amassed 4 goals and 7 assists and a +5 plus/minus rating in 31 games.

Nightingale contributed 2 goals, 4 assists, 68 penalty minutes and a -3 plus/minus rating in 31 games. Cooper, who signed with the Wolves on March 23 after wrapping up his collegiate career at Bowling Green State University, appeared in 2 games.
