Tic-tac-toe goals. Leaping screens. Shootout winners. Epic cellys. The first half of the season featured some amazing goals and now we want you to pick your favorite. Spoiler alert: it won’t be easy to pick just one.
We selected five of our favorites for you to pick from: Pat Cannone’s goal from below the right circle that was the product of a gorgeous tic-tac-toe play on Nov. 1 against Manitoba, Ty Rattie’s tally on Nov. 18 at Milwaukee as he slid backdoor and jammed in a pass across the crease from Peter Harrold, Jacob Doty’s game-winner that he delivered while flying down the slot and falling to his knees that gave John Anderson his 600th regular-season win with the franchise on Nov. 22 vs. Iowa, Jordan Schmaltz’s slick backhand in the first round of the shootout that lifted the Wolves to a 4-3 victory over Texas on Dec. 17, and finally Jeremy Welsh’s lamp lighter that came from the right circle as he used Eriah Hayes’ leaping screen to find the back of the net on Dec. 21 against Manitoba.
Watch, watch again, watch one more time, and then make your vote! We’ll announce the winner one week from today on Thursday, May 26.
