The Chicago Wolves announced Saturday that they trimmed 17 players from their training camp roster. Sixteen players were training camp invites and Sam Povorozniouk was on professional tryout contract.

Chicago released forwards Matt Cope, Chris Crane, Dane Fox, Justin Kovacs, Matt Leitner, Josh Shalla, Alexander Taulien, Nathan Todd and Brady Vail, defensemen Kevin Gibson, Zach Loesch, James Melindy, Jared Nightingale and Bobby Shea and goaltenders Michael Garnett and Matt Skoff.
