The Chicago Wolves announced on Sunday that the club has recalled forward Emerson Clark from loan to the Tulsa Oilers (ECHL).
Clark contributed 2 goals, 5 assists and 62 penalty minutes in the Wolves’ final 29 games of the 2015-16 season while playing on a professional tryout contract (PTO). The Whitby, Ontario, native made his Chicago and American Hockey League debuts on Feb. 13 and scored his first AHL goal in his second game.
The 23-year-old forward has contributed 6 goals, 6 assists, 57 penalty minutes and a +5 plus/minus rating in 14 games this season for Tulsa. Through 167 career ECHL games, Clark has registered 45 goals, 39 assists and 626 penalty minutes.
Clark will be available when the Wolves travel to Wells Fargo Arena for the front end of a home-and-home series with the Iowa Wild on Friday (Nov. 18). Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live in the Chicago area on The U Too. The Wolves return to Allstate Arena on Saturday (Nov. 19) to face the Wild on Salute to Military Families Night, presented by Illinois Lottery Veterans Cash Ticket.
