The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that defenseman Kevin Tansey has been returned on loan and center Justin Selman was reassigned by the St. Louis Blues (NHL) to the Missouri Mavericks (ECHL).
Tansey signed a standard player’s contract with the Wolves after a strong showing at the club’s preseason training camp. This season, Tansey has skated in 12 games for Chicago and logged 19 penalty minutes and a -1 plus/minus rating. He anchored the third defensive pairing, primarily playing with Scooter Vaughan or Gus Young.
Selman was reassigned by St. Louis to the Wolves on Oct. 25 and has appeared in six games with the team. The 23-year-old registered a goal, a +1 plus/minus rating and 4 penalty minutes.
The Wolves’ next game is Friday (Nov. 18) against the Iowa Wild at Wells Fargo Arena. Chicago then returns to Allstate Arena on Saturday (Nov. 19) for the back end of the home-and-home series with Iowa. The game is also the team’s annual Salute to Military Families Night, presented by Illinois Lottery Veterans Cash Ticket. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m.
