ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Chicago Wolves are hosting Star Wars Night on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Allstate Arena when the team faces the Iowa Wild at 7 p.m.
With the theatrical release of “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” less than three weeks away, the Wolves invite all Star Wars fans to celebrate the latest adventure with a full evening of Star Wars-inspired activities.
As soon as doors open at 6 p.m., fans who visit the area behind Sections 209 and 212 get to experience one-on-one Jedi training. That’s also the site for the official Star Wars costume contest — with the winner earning the right to go on the ice to conduct the ceremonial pregame puck drop.
Members of The 501st Legion’s Midwest Garrison, who dress as authentic Star Wars characters, will walk the main concourse throughout the night and provide photo opportunities.
The Wolves have arranged a special offer for Star Wars Night that includes a ticket and a lightsaber. To purchase this deal, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES or click here. Use the offer code FORCE. Fans who already have tickets can purchase lightsabers at the merchandise stands.
The Chicago Wolves gave up two power-play goals as the Manitoba Moose edged the club 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Allstate Arena.
