The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that center Ivan Barbashev has been recalled from loan by the St. Louis Blues.
In his latest stint with the Wolves, Barbashev appeared in one game on Feb. 22 against the Cleveland Monsters at Allstate Arena. Through the 2016-17 season with Chicago, Barbashev has skated in 46 games and collected 37 points (19G, 18A). The 22-year-old ranks third in club scoring.
Since Barbashev’s initial recall on Jan. 26, he has dressed for 12 games with the Blues that included his NHL debut the same evening. The 22-year-old netted his first NHL goal on Feb. 7 against the Ottawa Senators and has tallied three points (2G, A).
The Wolves continue their six-game homestand against the reigning Calder Cup champion Cleveland Monsters on Saturday (March 4). Puck drop for American Girl Night is set for 7 p.m., and the first 5,000 children into Allstate Arena receive a doll outfit. The contest will be broadcast on CW50 in the Chicago area.
