The Chicago Wolves have announced five guaranteed home dates for the American Hockey League’s 2017-18 season. The list of dates starts with the Wolves’ 24th home opener on Saturday, Oct. 14, at Allstate Arena.
Chicago also has been assured home games for these four dates: Sunday, Nov. 12; Saturday, Jan. 6; Saturday, Feb. 3; and Sunday, Feb. 18.
The Wolves’ home schedule will feature four new opponents: the Bakersfield Condors, Ontario Reign, San Diego Gulls and Tucson Roadrunners. While the 38-game home slate is expected to be released by the AHL in mid-summer, season-ticket packages for the 2017-18 campaign can be purchased now with a $25 deposit.
On Tuesday, the Wolves announced a multi-year partnership with the National Hockey League’s new franchise, the Vegas Golden Knights, who are set to begin play during the 2017-18 season.
The partnership is built upon Wolves owner Don Levin and Golden Knights general manager George McPhee’s mutual interest in winning championships at the AHL level.
