Wolves Trim Roster by 12

The Chicago Wolves pared their roster to 25 as a dozen players were released when the club concluded training camp on Saturday with a 3-1 victory against the Milwaukee Admirals at UWM Panther Arena.

Forwards Terry Broadhurst, Nelson Gadoury, Keigan Goetz, Tyler Heinonen, Ivan Hodulov, Justin Kovacs, Josh MacDonald and Sam Warning; goaltenders Kris Joyce, C.J. Motte and Alex Sakellaropoulos; and defenseman Daniel Johnston were released over the weekend.

The Wolves will announce their American Hockey League Opening Night roster prior to the team’s first game on Friday, Oct. 6, in Cedar Park, Texas. Chicago will open the 2017-18 campaign with a set of games against the Texas Stars at HEB Center.

Chicago makes its season debut at Allstate Arena on Saturday, Oct. 14, against the Ontario Reign. Puck drop is slated for 7 p.m. Tickets are available through ChicagoWolves.com or ticketmaster.com.
