The Chicago Wolves announced their broadcasting plans Tuesday that feature 30 games on CW50 Chicago and 22 games on The U Too during the 2017-18 American Hockey League season.
This marks the second consecutive year the Wolves and CW50 have worked together to deliver “Saturday Night with the Wolves” broadcasts to Chicago. CW50 will televise 23 games on Saturdays and seven games on Sunday afternoons during the course of the regular season.
The U Too, which enters its sixth season as a Wolves television partner, will televise 18 games on Fridays as part of the “Friday Night Ice” package. The U Too also will broadcast four Sunday afternoon games. All games on The U Too can be found on WCIU-TV 26.2, XFINITY 230/360, RCN 35, Dish 48, AT&T U-verse 24 and WOW 107.
“As hockey’s popularity continues to rise, we are pleased to provide live Wolves hockey throughout the Chicago area,” said Wolves president of business operations Mike Gordon. “Our partners have tailored this extensive broadcast package to enable Wolves fans to be a part of the journey as the team defends its Central Division title and shoots for a league championship.

The Wolves launch the 2017-18 season on Friday, Oct. 6, with a 7:30 p.m. game at the Texas Stars that will be broadcast on The U Too. The team’s first CW50 telecast occurs the following night at 7 p.m. against the Stars.
