The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that defenseman Griffin Reinhart has been loaned to the club for conditioning by the Vegas Golden Knights (NHL).
The 23-year-old Reinhart was selected by Vegas during the Expansion Draft in June and signed a two-year deal with the team on July 15.
Reinhart made his NHL debut with the New York Islanders on Oct. 10, 2014. In 37 NHL appearances, he has posted two assists and 26 penalty minutes. Reinhart has yet to see regular-season action with the Golden Knights.
Reinhart will be available as the Wolves face off against the reigning Calder Cup champion Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday, Oct. 27, at Van Andel Arena. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on The U Too.
