The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday that forward Tomas Hyka and goaltender Max Lagace have been returned on loan to the club by the Vegas Golden Knights.
The 24-year-old Hyka returns to the Wolves after appearing in 10 games and accruing three points (G, 2A) for the Golden Knights.
Hyka has skated in 35 games this season for Chicago and produced 34 points (13G, 21A) — he ranks fifth in team scoring.
Lagace comes back to the Wolves after appearing in 16 games for Vegas and compiling a 6-7-1 record. He also recorded a 3.91 goals-against average and .867 save percentage.
The 25-year-old Lagace backstopped the Wolves for 18 games. He produced an 11-4-2 record with a 2.65 goals-against average and .907 save percentage.
Both players will be available when the Wolves host the Rockford IceHogs in Illinois Lottery Cup action on Saturday, March 17. Puck drop for the Wolves’ 13th St. Patrick’s Day game is 7 p.m. and the game will be televised on CW50 in the Chicago area.
