The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that the Vegas Golden Knights returned center Brandon Pirri on loan to the team.
The 26-year-old made his Golden Knights debut on April 3 and netted two goals to help lift Vegas over the Vancouver Canucks. Two days later, Pirri registered another goal to finish his first stint with Vegas with three goals in two games. He also reached the century-point and 60-goal marks in that span.
The Toronto native returns to Chicago where he has skated in 54 games this season and owns a team-leading 29 goals. That total ranks him fourth among American Hockey League skaters in goals.
Pirri should be available Saturday, April 7, as the Wolves host the Milwaukee Admirals. Puck drop is 7 p.m., and the game will be televised on CW50.
