The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that rookie center Reid Duke has been reassigned to the team by the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights.
Duke was recalled from loan on Wednesday and his first regular-season stint with the Golden Knights lasted five days. He participated in pregame warmups for Vegas’ 4-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Dec. 6, but did not appear in any Golden Knights games.
The 22-year-old Calgary native returns to the Wolves, where he has produced 6 goals and 7 assists in 22 games. He will be available this weekend when Chicago hosts the Tucson Roadrunners at 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Allstate Arena.
