Summer is nearing its end — shortened considerably by the Chicago Wolves’ long playoff run to the 2019 Calder Cup Finals — but the Wolves already are focused on the 2019-20 season.

Wolves general manager Wendell Young and the Vegas Golden Knights organization have been working tirelessly to build a team that can bring home a fifth championship to Chicago. The hockey calendar started anew on July 1 and plenty of moves already have been made.

Expect this year’s roster to be similar to last year’s Central Division champions — hungry and talented veterans and highly touted Vegas prospects bonding together.
