For the last 18 months, thousands of frontline workers and healthcare heroes throughout the Chicago area have worked tirelessly to protect us.
To salute these men and women for their heroic efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chicago Wolves have partnered with Fannie May, Loyola Medicine, Savers and Turtle Wax to provide complimentary tickets to Chicago Wolves home games.
Starting with the season opener on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Allstate Arena, the Wolves are donating tickets to healthcare heroes and frontline workers throughout the 2021-22 regular season thanks to the sponsors that are participating in this program.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to express our gratitude to these selfless men and women,” said Wolves president of operations Jon Sata. “Together with our partners, we want to offer our thanks and shine the spotlight on as many local frontline workers and healthcare heroes as possible.”
“We are pleased to be part of this effort to demonstrate our appreciation for frontline workers and healthcare heroes,” said Savers regional director Kim Barrett. “This is a great opportunity to honor those dedicated to keeping our communities strong and healthy.”
“Fannie May is committed to supporting frontline workers for their heroic efforts to protect our families and we are proud to partner with the Chicago Wolves to express our gratitude to them,” said Kari Fisch, Senior Brand Manager at Fannie May.
In January, the Wolves will wear their appreciation for healthcare heroes on their sleeves. The team will don special Healthcare Heroes jerseys, presented by Turtle Wax, for their games on Jan. 28-29 at Allstate Arena. These commemorative jerseys will be auctioned and raffled with proceeds going to a variety of local charities devoted to helping healthcare heroes.
“We echo the Chicago Wolves organization in sharing our heartfelt thanks to Chicagoland’s healthcare heroes and frontline workers,” said Denis John Healy, executive chairman, Turtle Wax. “Turtle Wax is proud to support the annual charity jersey auction that will benefit amazing organizations that will care for – and support – healthcare heroes as they have supported us during these unprecedented times.”
