The Chicago Wolves announced Monday that defenseman Jalen Chatfield and Max Lajoie have been recalled from loan by the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes.
The 25-year-old Chatfield has produced four goals — one off the AHL lead for blueliners — and three assists in 17 games for the Central Division-leading Wolves. The 24-year-old Lajoie, who appeared in two Stanley Cup Playoff games for the Hurricanes last season, has amassed one goal and seven assists in 17 games this season.
Lajoie made his NHL debut with the Ottawa Senators at the age of 20 and has posted seven goals and eight assists in 62 regular-season NHL appearances. Chatfield made his NHL debut last season and notched one assist in 18 games for the Vancouver Canucks.
The first-place Wolves host the Iowa Wild at 7 p.m. Thursday on Craft Beer Night at Allstate Arena. To purchase a Craft Beer Package or to find Cyber Monday specials on merchandise or tickets, visit ChicagoWolvesStore.com or call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.
