The Chicago Wolves announced Saturday they have signed defenseman Billy Constantinou to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Prior to turning pro this year, the Scarborough, Ontario, native spent three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League. He racked up 22 goals and 76 assists in 171 games for the Niagara IceDogs, Kingston Frontenacs and Soo Greyhounds. In 2019-20, his 44 assists ranked fourth among all OHL defensemen.

Constantinou joins the Wolves in Des Moines as they prepare for a 6 p.m. game against the Iowa Wild at Wells Fargo Arena. Chicago returns to Allstate Arena for home games on Jan. 26, 28 and 29, which features the Chicago Mid-Winter Classic, presented by Planet Fitness, on Saturday, Jan. 29, vs. Rockford.
