The Chicago Wolves announced Saturday that forward Josh Leivo has been reassigned on loan by the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and forward Kyle Marino has been recalled from loan to the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads in time for Saturday’s 7 p.m. home game against the Rockford IceHogs.
Leivo, 28, has appeared in seven games for Carolina this season and contributed one goal and two assists. He owns 6 goals and 13 assists in 22 appearances for the Wolves, which includes four goals and 10 assists in six games during December that earned the American Hockey League’s Player of the Month award.
Marino, 26, has posted 39 penalty minutes in nine games for the Wolves this season. The Niagara Falls, Ontario, native has compiled 4 goals and 5 assists in 17 games for Idaho.
